Great neighborhood bar, friendly staff, cool industrial decor w/ tires and metalwork. PBR's served in koozies and good mixed drinks. The crowd is chill and down to earth most of the time (and it's usually crowded later than earlier). Pool table, darts, ring on a string. Front and back walls open up 'garage-style' weather-permitting.

The Garage is not only a great place to kick back and get some beers with friends, but the best part of the Bar is Eddy, the owner. As quick witted as he is kind, Eddy makes the fun and laid back bar atmosphere what it is. Always willing to give a good deal, Eddy seems more like an old pal then an employee. I highly suggest you go check the place out, and have a chat with Eddy!

great looking bar. love that you can get a pbr in a beer koozie, or some decent micro brews. pretty standard 9-5 business crowd. if you look good in khakis you will be comfortable here.

The only thing this place REALLY needs is a pinball machine or two. Then I would never leave.

A few nights ago I was riding around on the Duc trying to think of somewhere suckless to go have a beer. On a whim I rode all the way from my house in the Highlands to Garage Bar just on the off chance that it was re-opened. When I saw the neon lit up in the window a couple of blocks away, I was so friggin happy. This place rules. It has a very California vibe to it. No fancy pants bullsh*t like most of the newer Denver bars and good people to talk to about bikes and whatever else. There's always something fun going on in there - it's the kind of bar you just want to spend time in. Period. I'm glad to see that the DPD didn't have their way with you in the end.

I just got back from The Garage. They are absolutely open! Drop by and say hi to Eddie, and don't forget to be there Wednesday nights at 8PM for Guitar Hero.

You can probably find Travis here any night of the week and talking really loud. Ha!

I love this bar. Watch out for the late night cruisers that show up :)
