Sister to the most-excellent Kitchen Restaurant. The room is a mix of modern and elements of the original old building. Low couches and tables for seating, with a decent bar. Not too bright, not too dark; not too loud, not too quiet. Fireplace (gas, of course). Short on tap beer, long on wines, an excellent lemon drop (according to my spouse). The food selections are not the same as downstairs, but still very tasty and high quality.

This is fast becoming one of my favorites in Boulder. It almost feels like an exclusive club as you head up the stairs and are greeted by a friendly host/hostess. It's packed on the weekends and less so on weekdays but maintains its ambiance with good lighting, music and wine selection.
