The Dug Out is a breath of fresh air in the crowded LoDo night life. This underground bar is a bar and nothing more. They have cold beer, hot pizza and a friendly staff. If you need some fresh air, step out onto the patio at the bottom of the stairs and laugh as the meat market rolls on by.

On a trip to Denver I visited here with friends on Trivia Night. We had a blast! The staff is great, the menu is good (and unique) and the atmosphere laid back.

great place to hang out. Randy and Rob (the owners) are good people and they'll take good care of you

The description couldn't be more correct. The food is also really good, with free range chickens and beef. Also, no fryer, so it somewhat healthy bar food.

Trivia on Mondy night was lots of fun. We scratched out more right answers than ever. I can't believe we missed the Ayn Rand, The Fountainhead question! Stupid Atlas Shrugged. At lease we came away with $15 twords the tab.
