This bar is straight up rock with great music, a 70's feel inside, and great drink specials. The owner of Mezcal opened this bar and was surprised to find a full kitchen behind door number 1. Check out the Westword for specials.

Wow! What can I say about this place thats positive in any way. First of all the sound system sounded like complete crap. There's only one bathroom in the whole place. This bar attached to a motel is a total meatmarket. I wouldn't recomend this fake retro dive to my worst enemy.

Going to Rockbar is like throwing up in your mouth and then having to swallow it. If you're still trying to find yourself than this is the place to be. If you have graduated and are now diving in the deep end the only pleasure you will derive from this bar is talking smack and making fun of other's. Yes, not nice but, "I do what I want".

The weekday atmosphere leaves something to be desired, but the low booths, snowboard videos and gold wallpaper definitely give it a unique feel...enjoy the cranked up tunes and kick back with Newcastle in a can!

The place has charm for about 5 minutes, and then it's just a cheesy motel-bar. If you loved the 80's, then this is the place for you & your poser boyfriend.

Ya know, I didn't want to like this place with it's seemingly contrived retro theme of trashy decadence and 80s fashion but it's really not bad. If you can get past all the kids wearing their sisters pants, you might be able to have a good time. It's a hell of a lot better than that silly Tiki Bar that was at the Ramada for a while.

Rockbar! Straight late 70's interior that is legit as this Bar has not been open since New Years Eve 1979.. . the interior is awesome with Chromed Ornate Wallpaper, An Amazing "Iron Work" like deco lighting arrangement above the dancefloor, tufted boothes, etc. A must see, Like something out of a movie or Wallpaper Magazine. Low brow beer selection & Strong drinks along with the addition of back lit acrylic signage of iconic rock bands of the last 36 years round out the "Rock" appeal & legitimacy. I have djed @ some of the hottest boutique hi-styled hi-end bars/clubs in NYC & SF, and am happy to announce that I am djing @ this very unique & cool designer dive bar here in good 'ol Denver! Come rock out with me on Saturday Nights for "Saturday Night Special" or one of the other highly themed & varied djed nights.
