Lola is a great restaurant/bar. It recently opened it's location in the Highlands. For those coming from downtown it is across the new highland bridge. It seems to always be crowded, especially outside on the porch. The porch has a great view of the Denver skyline. Lola has good happy hour specials. I've heard $1 tacos on Mondays. If the porch is too crowded for you and your friends, there is plenty of room in the basement where there is a separate bar. I would not call Lola's a divebar, it is a bit more classy.

I would say one of the best bars for summer happy hour in Denver! Great patio, great views, tecate on tap, great people, and good scene

Good Monday Happy Hour - $1 Tacos - Get a good location on the patio, make friends and give high fives! Or act really cool, tuck in your shirt and meet a hottie. I usually option for option A.

Absolutely the worst food and bar selection I've ever had. The food menu is limited and offers vague descriptions on everything making choosing anything impossible. My entre was disgusting and tasted like an ashtray. (shrimpballs)
The bar selection is laughable... No Skyy vodka? No Red Bull (or any energy drink), No Bud Light.
I cant believe anyone goes there.
