I am a biased observer - The Hungry Toad is my local and has been since I wandered into Boulder with a backpack 12 years ago and found a job cooking and tending bar at the establishment. Not much has changed since. There aren't many pubs around that appear to be transported wholesale from London with no pretensions culinary or otherwise. Walk in and you'll encounter a mix of long-time regulars and new timers. A few 20 oz pours of Fullers later and you'll be destined to become one of the former.
