Goosetown is directly across from the Bluebird theater. Not too shaby my friend. They have a good food selection, pool tables and you need to check out the juke box. Plus it's two skips and a jump if you want to roll over to Mezcal or the Atomic Cowboy.

Good enough selection of beers to satisfy my drinking buddy who is more particular about his beers. Food is surprisingly good and you can get just a slice of pizza if you just need a little snack.

The bar staff is first rate, they are quick, friendly, and remember you and your preferred drink. We usually prefer a bartender that greets us or says goodbye with a nice big hug, but it's predominantly a male bartending staff so we'll give them a pass on that one!

The clientele is diverse but friendly (my favorite). If we are in social mode (i.e. at the bar or pool tables), we rarely leave without some new acquaintences.

The pool tables and equipment is pretty beat, and playing is tight due to proximity to people, booths, etc. - we have run across some decent shooters just out having some fun. Despite these drawbacks we do enjoy playing a few games at Goosetown.

Another nice thing about Goosetown is there are plenty of other bars within walking distance if you feel the need to move to a new setting.

Plenty of places to sit, Golden Tee/Bowling, food has never disappointed. Reasonable prices, nice bartenders.
