A gem, straight up and down. Right off Colfax. Used to be a bit cooler when you could smoke inside, but still one of my favs. Cheap drinks (wells and domestics) during happy hour (5-8). Rad jukebox loaded with the best albums/artists from every genre (i.e. hank sr., thelonius monk, dj shadow, spoon, billie holiday, led zepplin, etc.). Clientele is low-key hipsters (mid twenties and older), never annoying or pretentious. Always dark and perfectly dirty as only the best dives are. I think Elvis Costello or Tom Waits would make this thier homebar.
