This hip bar is in an up and coming neighborhood between downtown Denver and Highlands and is nesteled among lofts and other trendy restaurants (e.g Lola, Sushi Sasa). It feels somewhat pretentious as it draws a young and hipster crowd and the bar staff fit that profile too - somewhat aloof and more interested in looking hip than serving up a drink. Despite that, it has a great atmosphere inside with eclectic decor and people packed in along the bar, on both sides of the long center island and outlying booths. The patio, although narrow, maintains the indoor ambiance as it runs the length of the building and looks out onto 15th St. There are also a few fire pits. There's a private room in the back that's great for parties and events. The space provides lots of little nooks and crannies to engage in conversation although it can be a bit tight in the bar area. The room has it's own bar and bartender which helps keeps the drinks flowing.

Everything is sweet about this bar: decor, music, vibe, crowd, location. Can't wait til this LoHi area grows even more.

Everything I've had at FR5 has been excellent. I usually order the Victory Prima Pilsner as it's such a delicious pils. Like @jay, I've tried ordering the forest room amber a few times. The first time or two it worked, and they did have it, but then 2 or 3 times they didn't have it and I stopped trying.

This place is really cool, and the food is awesome, but every time I go there, the waitress goes down the list of what they don't have. Seems a bit backward.
