Fado's is a chain, but they do the Irish bar right. This is one of the bigger bars in LoDo and it's location across from Coors field is great on a summer night with their large patio. Rumored to have imported it's decor directly from Ireland, Fado's serves an authentic Irish atmosphere and an authentic black and tan. It can get a little crowded and 'clubbish' on the weekends but overall is a good place to hang out and enjoy LoDo's atmosphere.

I must agree with "Flippo". The one Chicago is better but not by much. Great location tho.

Fado is an awesome place to go for a soccer game or a good European beer. It's a big hangout for local Europeans, I always hear someone with an accent there. The servers are very knowledgeable about their bar, and the Irish culture. The last time I was there, the bartender told me that it's pronounced Fado not Fado's, as it isn't named after a person but means "long ago" as in stepping back in time. Very cool, I plan to attend their New Years Eve party, b/c the 80s/90s cover band is playing and the lady servers are hot!
