Code 3 Lounge new to the 20th and Larimer block is a nice addition to area. Friendly staff, lots of drink specials ($3 U-call-its, according to their website tues/wed 7-12 $15 all your can drink). The bar is long and there are a couple lounge areas with nice leather couches and brick walls. Also has 2 pool tables a couple video games and a 100 inch projection TV. And maybe the only bar that I have ever seen Guaro (a fine costa rican beverage) at. All beer is in bottles or cans (24oz PBRs)

Not a total wash but kind of feels like one of those Red Room offshoots - Satelite Bar or Highland Tavern - not much character or charm. All the parts are there to make a bar, but they just don't gel in a way that welcomes you and gives you a warm fuzzy in your belly. I like that they have arcade games and cheap beer though.

Jay's b-day parties are the best. Watch out for his sister though, she might try to lift you off the ground, even if you look like a little guy but you're really hiding a lot of junk in the trunk.
