- Blake Street Tavern
- report a problem
Located just two blocks away from Coors field, the Blake Street Tavern is the place to go after the game. Be sure to bring your Rockies ticket stub 'cause that will get you a free beer on any game day. Other than the usual domestics the Blake Street Tavern is home to the Flying Dog Brewery. So there is plenty of fresh beer and always a good seasonal brew. There is an internet jukebox that is alright and two pool tables in the back that are usually taken before you get there. The food is good. Most people like the burgers but I prefer the pulled pork sannie. There are plenty of TV's strewn about showing sports from all over. I think the place has some kinship with Boston, because if the Red Sox are playing you will find it on the big screen.

NFL Sunday ticket and plenty of TVs, plus individual speakers for your table so you can tune in the game you want to hear. Decent beer (next door to the Flying Dog), and pretty good food.
Finally, DOGtoberfest is here.
This place blows. Yup, that's all I got. Sorry, a bar this uninspired doesn't really lend itself to a witty review.
This is definitely the place to watch a Red Sox game--or pretty much any other sports event. The fresh Flying Dog beers on tap are all pretty tasty. The food's great--different specials every night, with Friday's bottomless fish and chips being a standout.
Pretty sweet place if you can stand all the CU paraphernalia. . . and as a CSU fan its a little tough to bear.
This summer they recently added a small patio. It is a nice addition but I wonder if they did it purley because of the new smoling ban.
This bar is really awesome.
