We are proud to announce the opening of Bistro One at 1294 South Broadway on the antique row of Broadway. Owner Alex Waters, Chef Olav Peterson, and Sous-Chef Travis Lorton have come together to create a Parisian style bistro that places an emphasis upon American Cuisine with a French flair, while embodying an affordable neighborhood atmosphere. The menu utilizes local, fresh, seasonal produce; while encompassing a true bistro style production of house-made pastas, breads, and charcuterie. The kitchen will be taking it one step further with a roof top garden, growing herbs, lettuces, tomatoes, and assorted vegetables for use in everyday menu items. Bistro One will offer 20 wines by the glass and bottle, hand-picked from all over the world to complement the menu, and offer an exceptional value for the guest. Specialty cocktails will be composed of hand squeezed juices, fresh fruit and herbs, and top shelf liquors. The beverage menu will also be composed of an international beer list in the bottle and on draught, specialty teas, coffees, and artesian non-alcoholic beverages. Training and hiring of an experienced staff will ensure that the guest is taken care of in an exceptional manner, exceeding all expectations being placed on food and service. The main goal of the restaurant is to develop a long term, lasting relationship with the community, and our neighbors, while providing a quality product that is driven by value and affordability. Bistro One will be open Tuesday through Sunday for Dinner beginning at 4:00pm, and serving until at least 10:00pm every night. Friday and Saturday night dinner will be served until 11:00pm. Happy Hour will be daily from 4:00pm until 7:00 pm. The menu will be expanded to offer lunch and brunch on Saturday and Sunday in the next few weeks, and dinner will also be served on Monday night.
