The 15th St Tavern is an iconic bar in the heart of downtown Denver. It may seem to small to hold much of a stage, but this is one of the best places to see live music in the city. It's definitely loud and can get a bit rowdy at times, but thats why you come here.

This was the first Bar I ever went to in Denver. It kinda got a bad rap as being rough. Growing up in Michigan me and my friends always hit up the dives. This place was a great dive with a pretty easy going crowd.

Last time I scooted by there, it looked like it had been gutted out. I imagine it's closed now??

What can you say. It's a sh*thole, but it's our sh*thole and it holds some serious old-denver cred with a lot of us barfly types. Plus, in a subtle yet incredibly convincing way, it shows off it's cool by containing no less than three pinball machines. This is, of course, why it must be destroyed by the man.
